Little Wyatt Man keeps growing and growing. Over the past month he's been to the doctor's office 3 times-- once for his 6 month well check, once for an ear infection, and then once again a week later for an ear infection check up. Each time it seemed he was a pound heavier than at his previous visit!
Right around 6 months I stopped nursing and switched to formula for all of his bottle feedings. It has made life much easier for both of us. He has tried all of his veggies by now. Like his sister, he detests peas, but loves the sweeter vegetables (i.e. sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash). This week we'll start him on fruits. I have a feeling he's going to like almost all of them.
A few days ago he cut his first teeth-- the two on the bottom. They popped up at the same time--double the pain, poor little guy!
He rolls everywhere and in all directions and can sit by himself (as long as we prop him up in the sitting position). Mr. Man seems to really like the view he gets while sitting up. I usually sit him on a blanket (with some pillows behind him in case he topples backward) and give him a few toys to play with while I prep dinner or wash the dishes. He loves to play and look at me. It is a very good development. :)
Tonight he and Ruby took a bath together (Ruby's idea). It was so fun to watch them splash and laugh and play. I'm so glad we have such a sweet little guy and that he has a great and loving big sister. Life is good.
