Last Day of Preschool

My baby girl is a preschool graduate.  Sniff!  Sniff!  Last Thursday was her last day of preschool.  She has had fun and learned a lot while at New Castle.  She is an emerging reader now and loves to count.  She often asks me how to spell words and then writes them down.  She even knows a few 2-3 letter words.  It won't be long before we have another reader in our home.

Toward the end of the year she even made a boyfriend- Tyler! It wasn't too serious, since they aren't allowed to hug or kiss at school.  Whew!  They did play pirates together on the playground, though.  When I broke the news to Brandon he wasn't a fan. lol

After her last day of school she proudly exclaimed that was "the best day EVER!"   Apparently, they had otter pops for snack and she was chosen to do something special during music time.

I love our spunky little learner.  I'm excited to see her continue to develop and grow next year as a kindergartner, but a little sad to send her to school every day.  Someone stop the clock-- she's growing up on us too quickly!
