Disney Jr Live

Last Saturday while BYU was getting ready to slaughter Texas Grandma Mimi and I took the kiddos to see Disney Jr. Live.  The show featured Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sophia the First, and Doc McStuffins-- my kids were beyond excited.  Ruby dressed up as Sophia and we bought Wyatt a Jake shirt.  Grandma got us great seats in the 11th row-- so we were close to the action.

My favorite part was watching how enthralled they were.  Wyatt is still at that stage where he loudly repeats everything he is excited about seeing, "Mick- Mouse!  Mick- Mouse! Mick- Mouse!  Jake, Mom! Jake, Mom!"  and it was adorable to watch them dance and sing along.

Later, when we were home Ruby told me that she really liked when the volcano exploded treasure (it was really confetti) because it was so magical.  And a few days after the show Wyatt was still retelling me his favorite parts-- "Ship, Tick- Tock, Peter..."

I'm glad we have these fun special adventures together, because it won't be long before these things aren't very exciting and magical for them anymore.
