Shout it from the rooftops-- Brandon graduated from BYU with his MBA this last weekend!!!!! We're soooooooooooo proud of him.
When Brandon was a kid his dad got an MBA from USC and that experience left a lasting impression on him. I remember him planning for an MBA when he was 18 years old. Through out his 20s he looked into different programs and we started saving money to pay for school. Just after he had 5 years of work experience (a requirement of applying to the program) he took the GMAT and started the process of applying to grad school. Thankfully, his company was really encouraging and very supportive of him advancing his education.
These past 2 years he sacrificed a lot of time and money and energy to earn his MBA. We were so pleased with a quality of the BYU program, and their emphasis on integrity and family life. B grew a lot as a person and made some wonderful friends and connections.
I know he's glad to have more free time, but also a little sad that it's all over.
We celebrated by attending the university commencement ceremony on Thursday night and then heading to PF Changs for a romantic dinner (Thanks again for babysitting, Uncle Chris). The following day we took the kids on a little tour of BYU (gotta indoctrinate them young, right?), attended a nice reception for the EMBA students and their families, went to his college's graduation ceremony, and then hit up a local BBQ joint with our family on the way home. By the time we rolled into our drive way it was 7 hours after we had left for BYU. Do we know how to party, or what?

| Because when you take your kids to BYU you really do have to teach about the joy of rolling down the hill in front of the library windows... |
Bravo, Brandon! What an accomplishment! Glad we could share in a little bit of your joy and glory.
