Ruby started kindergarten!!!!!!

Holy cow!  I can't believe that my little baby Ruby is now in kindergarten.  And I am officially "that mom."  You know, the one who cried like a baby and took 58 pictures (literally).  It did not help that B and I looked at old family photo albums last night, oh, and I'm 7 months pregnant/highly emotional.

She was beyond thrilled to make the leap to big girl school.

She was ready to go early and begged me to stop taking pictures so that we could start making the 1/2 block walk.

While we were waiting for her to line up and go into class Wyatt stayed firmly attached to my leg and repeated, "Don't leave me here."  I have a feeling that he won't be as independent as his big sis next week when preschool starts.

When I picked her up the first thing she told me was about an accident she had on the playground swings.  Then she told me about the cupcakes someone's mom brought into share.  Then, she proclaimed everything was good and didn't want to talk about it any more.  That's so Ruby. lol

Here's to a great year and great start to her school career!  May she always be excited to learn and make new friends.  May she stay brave and kind and sweet.  Love her so much.
