Linfords in Zions

In mid July we attended the Linford family reunion at Zions National Park.  It was great to see almost the whole gang together (40 out of 41 were able to come) and it was relatively drama free-- hooray!

The kids loved staying up late and playing with their cousins.  They kind of liked hiking and really liked the natural pool we played in.  The were over the moon about their horse back ride and trips to the pool with the waterslide.

They had fun catching bugs and entertaining us during the talent show.  Wyatt stole the show with his last minute entry.  Inspired by Cousin Jack's martial arts demonstrations, he whispered (loudly) to Uncle Ryan that he wanted to punch him in the face.  He added some flair to the routine, though, and did a somersault before delivering the punch.  He says he plans to also kick Uncle Ryan in the stomach at the next show.  Poor Uncle Ryan...

Brandon and I were glad to finally get a chance to hike the narrows, but now we want to go back and hike for more than 7 miles...

Levi enjoyed waking up at 6 am every morning.  He did not enjoy having his pack and play in the shower, but it was the only quiet, dark spot we could find to hide him away.  Such is the life of a baby.

Good times.  We'll do it all again in two years in a new place.  Looking forward to it!
